Non-Equity, Showcase Code Funny… Sheesh Productions is holding auditions for Love
Me, full-length romantic comedy (writer Jason S. Grossman; director Rachel
Klein). This is pending Actors' Equity Approved Showcase. Stipend for actors. Love Me was the winner
for Best Playwriting at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (2010) and was called the "must-see, feel good comedy of the
year" by Martin Denton (NYTheatre.com). Rachel Klein's extensive directing credits include The Anthem and Around
the World in 80 Days. Synopsis:
Underachieving writer and motivational
speaker Charlie Styptic is mired in a lifelong love life slump. Forever lovesick,
he's unwittingly counseled
by his simpleminded sidekick and a newly befriended womanizer. Will he ever
find love or be eternally
controlled by the incessantly critical voice in his head?

friend; mid twenties-mid thirties. TOM, a large, somewhat simpleminded actor and loyal
friend to Charlie; mid twenties-mid thirties. SUSAN, a self-involved actress; mid- twenties-mid
thirties. Actor also to play KATE, a friend of Sara's. JOHN, a self-appointed expert on women; mid-twenties-late
