CASTING Equity and Non-Equity, Showcase Code

Funny… Sheesh Productions is holding auditions for Love Me, full-length romantic comedy (writer Jason S. Grossman; director Rachel Klein). This is pending Actors' Equity Approved Showcase. Stipend for actors.

Love Me was the winner for Best Playwriting at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (2010) and was called the "must-see, feel good comedy of the year" by Martin Denton (NYTheatre.com). Rachel Klein's extensive directing credits include The Anthem and Around the World in 80 Days.

Synopsis: Underachieving writer and motivational speaker Charlie Styptic is mired in a lifelong love life slump.  Forever lovesick, he's unwittingly counseled by his simpleminded sidekick and a newly befriended womanizer.  Will he ever find love or be eternally controlled by the incessantly critical voice in his head?
